About

Breakfast On Demand

I have enjoyed cooking and entertaining friends and family for as long as I can remember . When I moved from Colombia to Canada, I learned about the concept of brunch and started building my network of friends by inviting them over to try my breakfast creations. And let me tell you, I fell in love with breakfast - the most important meal of the day in Colombia, my home country, but often overlooked in Canada.

My passion for cooking continues - I have taken more than eight courses at George Brown in the Culinary Arts program. In my travels. I always take cooking classes with local families, like in India where a lovely family taught me how to make curries and chapati bread.

With so many people working from home, I decided to convert my passion for cooking into a small business where you can surprise someone by sending them a unique, homemade breakfast to help them start the day off right.

I hope you and your friends and families enjoy my breakfast packages as much as I enjoy making them.

Always open to receive feedback and new ideas.

Breakfast On Demand - Mission Statement

  • I take pride and am proud of the meals that I provide to my customers

  • Buying from local Ontario food providers (whenever possible) - helps me support the community and local businesses while getting the best / freshest ingredients on your plates

  • Breakfasts are packaged with compostable paper and glass, including cutlery, which is made of renewable cornstarch.  It is very important for me to be caring of Mother Earth and being environmentally conscious.

  • I am introducing different or unique ethnic ingredients , that are nutritious and delicious.  As a Canadian immigrant, I value the diversity that we all are bringing to this great country.

Living during Covid times has taught me the importance of staying at home, working from home, and staying positive within our  “new” normal lives.  Sending a breakfast to someone we care about during these times is important for our mental well-being and the ones receiving a thoughtful gesture.  I have received my first Covid vaccine and follow the Government of Canada Covid guidelines, I use gloves and a mask at all times, and store the food in a separate refrigerator and freezer.
